Describe at least one important character in the written text.
Explain how this character is revealed to you throughout the text.

‘People aren’t who they seem to be,’ this novel The Great Gatsby which is written by J.scott Fitzgerald is a novel about a young man who moved to New York in search of a better life. We follow him through all the drama that he is intertwined in that summer. He uses the three main Characters Jay Gatsby, Nick Carraway and Daisy Buchanan to create the idea of illusion. Throughout my analysis I will discuss how the illusion of these three characters were broken and their true selves were revealed.

Jay Gatsby is full of illusion the hole idea of Gatsby is a illusion. Gastby is a younge man who is “the son of some wealthy people in the Middle West- all dead now”
